Eye exam

An eye exam takes 20 to 30 minutes and is the starting point for any prescription lens. At R&B Optical you can have one with or without an appointment at either of our two Ciudad Juárez branches.

A pair of prescription glasses is two decisions: the frame you will wear every day and the lens that goes in it. The second one affects how you see the most, and it is where advice pays off.

In Ciudad Juárez, eye protection is not an accessory: it is work equipment. We supply prescription safety glasses to the city's maquiladoras and companies, with the paperwork handled so HR does not inherit a burden.

All three services are available at our two Ciudad Juárez branches, Valle del Sol and Oasis. For eye exams and prescription glasses you can walk in during opening hours; for the corporate service, message us first so we can prepare the proposal.

Terrible service. After two attempts and weeks of getting used to them, I went to return the transition glasses they recommended for eight hours a day using a laptop. I told them they shouldn't offer those types of glasses for that purpose, to which the owner replied that he wasn't going to teach them what they'd always done. So I asked for a refund, which they agreed to, but not before telling me they preferred to avoid the hassle. Imagine that.
